Proper Installation Of Roof Drip Edge

To install a drip edge on a newly constructed roof or on a re roofing job attach the drip edge along the roof s eaves first.

Align the leading bottom edge of the first piece on the gable rake with the front edge of the drip edge installed on the eave. Slide the corner tight to the fascia. Be sure to tuck the drip edge under the starter strip and felt paper. Make sure the outer edge extends over the gutter.
